Hi, I am a 28 yr old professional female looking for a roommate to fill my huge living room space. I work as a scientist at the NIH and have been living in this apartment since a year now. I am a very clean person and hope the same from the roommates as well. I prefer professional females as roommates; however everyone is invited to take the place. I personally have been having a very comfortable living here - Ideally a good place for people working/studying anywhere on the RED line metro route, in and around University of DC and American University. If you drive then that's even more accessible for you. I am myself a very clean, no-fuss person and easy going person, have a regular routine of work, gym and home and have been enjoying my stay here so far, like to have my space and allow having yours. My current wonderful roommates have new career ventures and are therefore moving ahead. :)The overall description of the place: All Utilities are included in the rent except internet. Internet: RCN ~ 110 MBPS. ~ $20.00 Apartment Description:A huge 2 bedroom-2 bath; 1175 sq. ft huge apartment, wood floored, kitchen filled with all basic appliances. The house is VERY clean and has been maintained well. The bathroom will be shared between the two people - one taking the living room space and the one taking the separate bedroom. The apartment facilities are very good, great maintenance (highly prompt) services with amicable management staff. We get a professional clean-up done at our apartment once in 2 months in addition to keeping the place clean ourselves as well on a daily basis. The building has its own small gym (Free for residents to use), have study areas. Laundry services are located in the building basement (more than enough washers and dryers, paid though), patio, barbeque area and copying/printing/scanning facilities as well. The heater and cooling facilities are very comfortable. The packages/mails are taken good care of in addition to individual requests. It is a very clean and well maintained building. Location:The area is very safe and well-lit as it is located right on the Connecticut Avenue; One of the nicest locations in terms of crowd and surroundings. • 7 mins walk from VanNess-UDC metro station; RED line. Located a stop away from American University and a block-walk away from University of District of Columbia. • 4 stops away from Metro center metro station - Orange and Blue lines.• Bus routes L1 and L2 are also available right outside the apartment. • Parking available for residents ($150/month) and free parking on the street after-hours. • Stores around: Giant, Starbucks, CVS, Gold's Gym, Bank of America, Walgreens, Burger King, ZIP Drycleaners, Various restaurants, etc. -- ALL within 7 mins of walk! • Exciting neighborhood like Friendship heights (Wisconsin Avenue, Cleveland Park, Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, Metro Center -- Minutes away from Downtown DC!
