I am looking for a fun-living, family-friendly and pleasant person to be a lodger in my modern newly-built 4 bed room detached house in Reading. The house is ideally located – close to Reading University (Whiteknights Campus) – 5 minutes walk, Bus no. 17 route (bus every 6 to 10 minutes to Reading town centre) – bus stop is 5 minutes walk the house. The house is also not far from Reading station (2.1 miles only, 10 to 20 minutes by bus or a very short drive). The house is located in a quiet residential area away from main street, but only 7 mins walks from Wokingham Road shops / Restaurants / Dominos/Sub-ways/ Pubs (College Arm & Three Tuns).The room offered is a reasonable sized double bed room (with double glazed window, central heating & central ventilation system) for private use by the lodger. Currently, a double bed, a mirror + a chest of drawers is available. Other furniture if any can be arranged (to be discussed once lodger moved to the property & paid the deposit). There is a large family bathroom (with shower) – mostly for sole use by the lodger, may only need to be occasionally shared (as we already have an en-suite shower & WC in the house besides this bathroom). A Kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, freeze and microwave is available for sharing. The living room has one power recliner chair, 2 seated power recliner and a 3 seater power recliner, plus a 46’’ TV (Sony Bravo), Blu-ray DVD player and Wii Console / WiFi is available for sharing responsibly. Broadband / Wireless router available.I have a garage (which is not used for car parking), but I have two parking space (off-road parking) – one is for myself and another is available for the lodger.The room would be available(or end of academic year). No short term letting or no male sharer please.I am a non-smoker & wouldn't consider any smoker in the house (even if they smoke only outside of the house). I don’t drink as well.
